Innovia LLC’s affiliates utilize Innovia’s proprietary biomaterials and know-how to develop innovative medical devices. Each affiliate is overseen by the management team of Innovia with various industry specialists contributing to the development of the product. The intellectual property that is developed within the affiliate is owned and maintained by the affiliate while the biomaterial IP is maintained in Innovia.
The focus of InnCardia is to redefine the state of the art in artificial heart valves, overcoming the shortcomings of both mechanical valves and bioprosthetic valves. InnFocus LLC is a biomaterials-based company established to develop novel products in ophthalmology that are not readily achievable with traditional biomaterials. InnoGraft LLC was spun off from Innovia in 2003 to develop novel sealants for conventional large caliber vascular grafts.
